EMPACT: “Empathic and Resilient Artists and CSR - Post pandemic insights”

Three-day Εvent!

When? 8, 9, 10 September!
Where? Vorres Museum, Greece.

We announce the third three-day event on 8,9,10 September 2023 organized by the Vorres Museum in the framework of the innovative project EMPACT – Empathy and Sustainability: The Art of Thinking like a Mountain, co-funded by the EU Creative Europe Programme (Grant Agreement No: 101055903 – EMPACT – CREA-CULT-2021-COOP-2). 

In the three-day event, both the theoretical and practical aspects of resilience will be examined and the importance of link creation between art institutions, artists and the corporate world will be looked into. Real examples of creative sustainability and an ecological approach both in creating artworks and in producing and disseminating art projects, will be discussed.

Art makes us resilient and gives us hope!

On the first day, experts on the field of resilience, curators, theoriticians, artists will elaborate on the subject. Days two and three will focus on the collections of the folk art section of the Vorres Museum and the resilience of materials, techniques, customs. An archaeologist and an architect will give their theoretical approach on the subject and two artistic workshops with the aid of artists and artisans will be realized aiming to prove the inexhaustible power of collections.
